The mission of the church is to help people come to Jesus, receive new life in him, and grow and serve as disciples within a Christ-centered community of faith.  At the heart of our faith, we believe God will talk with us, reason with us, encourage us, give us wisdom, and empower us to serve the cause of God's kingdom.  Set aside some time each day to pray and meditate about the theme and items listed for each day.  Allow God to come to you, for your own sake and for the sake of bringing others to Jesus.

Monday - Discipleship 

        Pray that you may:

•  Understand who God is and what God is doing

• Understand God's desires and calling to you

• Receive insight and empowerment to grow as a disciple of Jesus

• Grow in sensitivity and compassion toward others

• Become aware of ministry opportunities

• Have courage to reach out in both deed and word, that your witness of Jesus may be shared with others.

Tuesday - Witness 

        Pray that you may:

• Deepen your own experience and knowledge of Jesus Christ

• Remember those encounters with Jesus that have enriched your life and that sustain you as his disciple

• Be free to recall and express these experiences as God may open opportunities for you to share them with others

• Sense God leading you to people who are searching and would be encouraged by your witness

• Become the means of helping others come to Jesus

Wednesday - Congregation 

       Pray for:

• Each other, both for personal needs and for each one's discipleship journey

• To discern God's vision for and calling to your congregation

• Understanding and growth in becoming an outreaching fellowship that is passionate about sharing the gospel with others

• Faith that we may trust God's promises and respond boldly in reaching out to others

Thursday - Community of Christ Worldwide 

       Pray for:

• Our mission center and the other congregations in our mission center, that we may be faithful and effective in our discipleship

• The leaders of the church and the congregations around the world who, like us, want to be faithful and effective disciples

Friday - Neighbors 

       Pray for:

• Needs in the community where you live and in the community where we meet together as a church

• Sensitivity to opportunities for ministry, both those that you may do yourself as well as those we may do together

Saturday - Inquirers and Seekers 

       Pray for:

• Those who do not know Jesus

• That your heart may go out to them even as God's heart does

• Boldness in speech and action, that we may stand for what is right, that we may affirm the worth of all people to God and to us; and that we may step past our fears and uncertainties to invite people to come and meet Jesus

Sunday - Celebrate 

       Celebrate:

• Past blessings, both yours and those of others

• Current experiences with God, both yours and those of others

• The saving acts of God throughout human history

• Your growth as a disciple

• The hope that we have in Jesus

• God's continuing choice to come among us and share God’s life with us

• The continuing invitation to share in the building of God's kingdom
