Doctrine and Covenants 163 Commentary SeriesThe Herald publishes an article each month to help us understand Section 163, our newest section of the Doctrine and Covenants. In the first article in this series, President Veazey tells us “Each person and congregation needs to discover prayerfully how to express the principles outlined in Section 163 in local contexts.” In answer to this appeal, the Anaheim Adult Church School Class is using this commentary series to explore Section 163.
We have read Stephen Veazey’s “My Testimony” from the July Herald, and Richard Brown’s article “The Future Beckons: Be Not Afraid” published in the August Herald. On January 13, we will study together “Called by Your Name” by Stephen Veazey from the September Herald. Please join us at 8:30am on the second through fifth Sundays of each month to discern God's word to us as given in Section 163.
